In 1995, Living Waters Christian Academy was started by Living Waters Church and an incredible journey started. In 2006 LWCA became an independent private school and in 2008 became Academy at Foxborough. Eventually the Academy became Legacy Christian Academy when moving from Foxborough to Norton. Legacy has always provided an extraordinary education to every child. Our graduates emerge from our program as self-aware, confident, engaged learners and go on to become fashion designers, doctors, engineers, nurses, architects, stockbrokers and thought leaders. Throughout its history, Legacy has had a strong culture of giving to our families an education that inspires its students, allows them to take risks and pursue the highest standards of academic excellence.
Legacy has been funded through tuition income, various business opportunities and through the diligence of its staff who have been working for almost nothing. Legacy must embrace the practices of operating as an independent private school. It is mandatory that we begin an annual fund and start the creation of an endowment fund.
On average, Legacy tuition covers 55 percent of the cost of educating each student, leaving a gap of nearly $5,000 per student each year and this is before financial aid. Gifts to the Annual Fund will provide financial support to bridge that gap. Capital gifts and planned giving help to secure the school's future by improving facilities and building the endowment. Your gift – of any size – is crucial to ensuring that current and future generations of Legacy students benefit from a world-class faculty, programs, and a diverse student body.
You can support Legacy in several ways, through a financial gift to the Annual Fund, with a Capital/ Endowment gift, Planned Giving or by volunteering your time. Whatever the size of your gift, or however you choose to give, we hope that you will make Legacy one of your top philanthropic priorities.
